How about an app to measure average slope over a fixed distance of 100 yards or less. Possible uses: (1) to measure the average steepness of a ski slope while skiing with your iphone (2) to measure the average slope of a hill upon which you want to install a zip line (zip lines require a specific slope for a safe, but reasonably fast ride). Good luck.
