I updated SpaceBubble to support iAds a while ago but haven’t gotten around to uploading the new code. This is good, because I found a bug in the meantime. This is for the unreleased version which is still in review with all bugs fixed. Enjoy!

Here is the updated Objective-C source code to my iPhone game SpaceBubble! It is released under the “Take a kid fishing or hunting license” which means in order to use this code in your project you must take a kid fishing or hunting, and give credit and a link back to the author (me) in some way or another such as on your product web page, about box, or legal agreement.
I hope this helps you take the leap into iPhone game development. Enjoy!

Hey. I have been messing with this for a few days just tinkering around. I am not able to get iAds functional though. Sometimes when I load into a new game, it pops up at the top, but it is empty. After a few seconds it will just disappear.
I cannot get it to load at all in the simulator. I have not put it on my phone so I am just getting these results from the app you have in the store. Also, what would be 100% nice is behind the iAd banner, show AdMob ads, or better if iAd cannot display default back to AdMob ads. Because most countries do not support iAds, so most users will not see your ad. Could help a lot with revenue and since your iAd seems to be broken it would definitely help.
It is a really clean app though. I am not sure if what I have been doing will end up being submitted to the store but if so I will make a donation and definitely leave visible credit to you on it.
Really though, that ad system would be very nice and a look into the iAd bug might be well worth it as well.
There is no problem, ads load fine, download SpaceBubble from the app store to see for yourself.
Awesome of you to release this code.
